Global Hair & Makeup works with the very best clients and companies from around the world. Our focus is to deliver exceptional hair & beauty services to our clients while working with the utmost discretion.
The tours Global Hair & Makeup offers include being backstage at some of the most exciting locations & events in the world. If you are 18 years or older, dream about doing something exciting for YOURSELF or working internationally PLUS have a professional approach to work, then register with us.
Each team member will always strive for excellence, be professional, well presented, discreet, and adaptable.
The Global Hair & Makeup team is made up of artists from around the world. We welcome both hair & makeup artists to apply.
Places are strictly limited to ensure you get the best experience. Each team will have an average of 5 places available for artists PLUS 1 x PA/Assistant in Monaco.
To apply to be part of the Global Hair & Makeup team, please register your interest using the Artists Registration tab on this website or click on the link on this page. Registering does not mean acceptance to a team.
As a creative on this team you will be skilled at providing anything from daytime glamour through to 'fashion runway' and 'red carpet' looks.
Makeup Artists, Hairdressers, Barbers
You will need to send through both edited and unedited images of your work. Please ensure files are no larger than 1Mb and are close ups so your makeup can be seen and reviewed. Photoshopped work & retouched work will NOT be accepted unless the unedited image and retouched works are shown side by side.
Assistant/PA
If you are a student makeup artist or a makeup artist but not ready to work backstage but would like an international experience, then you can apply to be part of the team as my PA/Assistant. You will travel with the team to all events and assist the hair & makeup artists as needed. You will have an invaluable chance to learn by practicing, watching and mentoring. If you are interested, you apply the same way and will incur the same costs because you are a team member.
Should you be successful in being selected to a team, you will then be provided with the cost of the tour & a contract and can choose whether to accept or decline.
Previous applicants are welcome to forward more images if they would like to update their existing application and be considered.
What We look For
The Global Hair & Makeup team is hand picked for each event and therefore every team is different. Each team is made up of talented, hair and makeup artists whose speaks for itself. The key attributes Global Hair & Makeup seeks in a hair stylist or makeup artist are:

The attributes above are extremely important as many of the events that the Global Hair & Makeup team is involved in are staged by clients who work at the luxury end of the market and with people who expect the above qualities and more.
Registering for the Global Hair & Makeup team is free but if you are selected then travelling the world always has a cost associated with it. Traveling solo to events is not free and that is the same with the Global Hair & Makeup team.
Each team meets at a nominated meeting point and from that date and time the team then travels together on tour. The tour is fully escorted and is inclusive of ground transport, accommodation, breakfast, public liability insurance, related taxes & fees and any other costs outlined in each tour schedule. Each team member will receive a contract and tour outline with the associated cost upon selection.
Global Hair & Makeup applicants all have their own reason for registering for the team. It may be to enhance a resume, self improvement, a bucket list dream, international experience, travel, exposure and so on but for whatever the reason, every team member strives to excel in their workmanship and by doing so pushes their skills to another next level.
Inclusions
Each tour has an associated cost and covers the following:

Other inclusions as detailed in the tour sheet
Airfares & airport transfers are not included
Accommodation is based on twin share rooms unless aparts and then it is based on bedding configuration.
Costs above are based on the exchange rate and only estimates.
